Hi, I’m me, and this is my blog! I spend a lot of my day reading fantasy, urban fantasy paranormal romance, science fiction, historical romance, and historical fantasy. Since I started keeping track in high school I’ve read over 1400 books, averaging about two-hundred something a year, and I’ve just decided it’s time to start exercising my mind by trying to articulate my thoughts on them as well.

I prefer modern stuff, 2000 or later, but I occasionally pick up an older book. I usually prefer at least a touch of romance to keep me interested in a work, and I almost always need some element of science fiction or the fantastical.

I do not ever want to be reading literary fiction or magical realism.

My other hobbies include playing video games, and telling people I’m studying harder than I really am.
